Amenities

There are Lifeguards who watch over Siesta Key Public Beach all year round, and the amenities include tennis, sand volleyball, softball and food concession facilities. Picnic pavilions are available for groups for a modest fee. The 800+ car parking lot is being expanded and there is currently other construction taking place so get to this beach early if you want a spot! After all this beach is the most popular beach in Sarasota County and it can get crowded. For information on renting picnic shelters and gazebos call (941) 316-1172.

Siesta Key Village Valentine Stroll

Siesta Key Village Association Presents The Siesta Key Village Valentine Stroll "Everyone gets a Kiss"

Sunday, February 14, 2016 - 5 - 8 PM.

Residents and visitors are invited to stroll through Siesta Village which will be adorned with Valentine cheer. There will be something for everyone including live music throughout the Village and candy kisses which will be distributed by the merchants. Participating merchants will be displaying red and pink balloons outside of their businesses.

Siesta Key Village offers romantic destinations for you and your sweetheart and lots of fun for the whole family.

If parking is a concern, there will be pedicab and golf cart cab services from the Siesta Public Beach parking lot to the Village.

Say "I do" again - Siesta Beach

For Children Ages 1-6. Each child receives an Easter Stuffed Animal and an Easter Egg Hunt Goody Bag stuffed with prizes.

Face painters will be there and opportunities to ride the trolley, tour the Siesta Key ambulance and fire truck and participate in other fun family entertainment.

Sheriff Dept. fingerprinting kits are available. Registration is limited to first 125 paid children.

Time to dust off those running shoes and get ready for the 30th Annual Run for the Turtles. Our Run supports sea turtle conservation and research at Mote Marine Laboratory and is the Sea Turtle Conservation Program's major fundraiser — it's helping us help sea turtles!

Where: Siesta Key Public Beach, 948 Beach Road

Registration will open in early 2016.
On Race Day: Registration begins 6:30AM at the Siesta Key Gazebo, south of the pavilion.

The 
1-Mile Fun Run or Walk begins at 7:30AM and the 
5K Manasota Track Club-Sanctioned Run begins at 8AM
